About Stack Days
Stack Days is an AI personal trainer. You tell it where you're at and what you're going for, in your own words, and its coach builds your training plan, writes out every session, coaches you through them, and changes the plan as you go.
Where the name comes from
When basketball season started, a few practices in, my coach would always say the same thing:
"Now it's time to stack days."
The first practices get you back into it. After that, getting better is just showing up and doing the work again and again. Every finished session is one more day on the stack. That's the whole idea behind this app: a plan you'll actually do, a coach that adjusts when life happens, and a running count of the days you've stacked.
What the coach does
- Builds a plan for any kind of training: lifting, running, basketball, soccer, cycling, swimming, conditioning, mobility, or a mix, fitted to your schedule, equipment and injuries.
- Writes each session out set by set and drill by drill, with rest times and coaching cues.
- Sets measurable goals with you and tracks progress toward them.
- Reads your logs, how hard sessions felt, and what you tell it, then moves, scales or swaps sessions.
- Searches the web for drills, established programs and current research when it helps, and tells you where it found things.
- Sees your Apple Health workouts (through the iPhone app) and Strava activities, so it knows what you actually did.
Questions
Does it cost anything? No. There's a daily limit on coach messages so the site stays up for everyone.
Is it medical advice? No. It gives general training guidance. For sharp pain, swelling, dizziness or anything that persists, see a doctor or physical therapist.
What do you do with my data? Your profile, plan, logs and imported activities are stored to coach you and nothing else. Disconnecting Strava removes its activities.
